Looking for the best foot creams? Here are some of my favourite ultra moisturising foot lotions.
Searching for the best foot creams for dry or hard skin hasn’t been so easy – I don’t know why, but it has been difficult to find ultra moisturising foot lotions which are also tough on heels (mine are so I need extra special care).
First things first: start with a foot peel (click here for the UK/Europe and here for the USA) – I have discovered these beauties during our first Coronavirus Lockdowns (hence I made it a ‘lockdown essential) and I will be doing these every season – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Pairing these with regular pedicures (which were not possible in recent times), and you will be good to go.
And just like I do with my hand creams, shampoos or hand washes, I rotate them – meaning I don’t use the same over and over again, so one at a time for variety and for the skin not to get used (and tired) of the same thing.
Without further ado, here some of my favourite and, in my opinion, some of the best foot creams:
Flexitol Rescue Heel Balm for Dry and Cracked Feet, 56ml
Costs £5 from Amazon
This Summer in Spain, I walked barefoot a lot more than normal and my heels cracked (despite having regular pedicures and being careful and applying foot cream daily). But the damage was done. I asked my readers for any suggestions and the answer was ‘just trust me, and get this one’. And that one I got and in 2 days my feet were incredibly better – and a week later, better than ever.
The Chemistry Brand Hydration Complex, 100ml
Costs from £12 from Look Fantastic UK (they also have a North American website)
Cerave Renewing Foot Cream
Costs £8.50 from Look Fantastic (global), Amazon UK or Amazon US
Margaret Dabbs Hydrating Foot Lotion
Costs £14 for 75ml and £25 for 200ml and you can get it from Look Fantastic (there’s a 20% off code for new customers), Cult Beauty or Net-a-Porter.
Margaret Dabbs Cracked Heel Treatment
Costs £18 and you can get it from Look Fantastic (global), Cult Beauty or Net a Porter
In order to get to these 5, I tried a good 20 – and most by brands I trust otherwise, but they just didn’t agree with my feet. So I hope this comes in handy and, as always, let me know if you buy one and agree that it is the best foot cream for hard skin or tired feet.
