Photos of the Week – White
Hello from the beautiful Miami Beach area 
We are now here for a short stay and determined to catch the last sun days of the year, before a wet and possibly miserable Autumn in England.
Today’s topic for #FriFotos is white – I love it!

Every year I go to Palm Springs for some TLC and this year had a little surprise! A massive Marilyn Monroe, who is now living here instead of Chicago.
I am looking rather white with Will.I.am!
Random things happen in life, and I happened to find myself spending a great evening with Will.I.am, who then created a name for Mr. O, or a hashtag – you may have seen us using #iamsimon and now you know why. Will was a lovely guy and we had a great night out. But boy, did I look white!

I love these 2 photos, taken in Portofino, in Italy. I had a lovely weekend in the area when I went on my first cruise and this was my favourite stop. There is a bit of white in these pictures!!
Size matters
This is a funny one. When we went to São Paulo, the hotel emailed us (before we arrived) asking for our shoe sizes. I thought it was rather strange, but loved the result – we had our own Havaianas. And just for the record, I am size 36 and Mr. O 45 – pretty much extremes!
And last, but not the least, 2 photos from my stay here in Miami.
An accident that almost happened!
Yesterday, I was inches from sitting down (wearing grey trousers) before I spotted this sign. It could have pretty much ruined the day.
And I will never forget this morning view at the Westin Diplomat pool – white, and calming – just what I need from my stay here!

Gosh, I’m so glad that Marilyn statue is out of Chicago!! OK not that that’s out of my system – cool selection! Especially the photo from Portofino, you look so happy in it! I’m not big on pina coladas, but this one looks so tempting.

It seems better located in Palm Springs, doesn’t it? Kitsch and all! I only have piña coladas (maybe 2 a year) during a beach holiday – this one was very tasty!

Was that Hotel Unique that gave you the white havaianas? I loved that place so much even down to the L’Occitane products and the FBI-style doormen!
