Best Lip Balms for Winter Tried and Tested

That time of the year is here – and I am sure no one is a fan of dry and chapped lips. I have selected a few lip balms, in different textures (some prefer more liberal application and texture than others!).

Lip balms and salves have come a long way in recent years – and they can actually work in a matter of hours. There are many options with flavours – but personally, I prefer something more neutral, which is reflected in the choices below.

Some of these products are new to me – others have been on my toiletry bag and handbag for years. Without further ado, here are my favourite lip balms for winter, all tried and tested, of course.

I’m always looking for the perfect lip balm but prefer stick applicators personally. I think the Elemis ones (from BA Club World) are really good – I almost wrote they are free but they definitely aren’t:) Just recently got the Drunk Elephant Lippe Balm for a recent US Sephora haul. Recommend trying that next time you are there. The price on Amazon is absurd.

The Elemis ones are good – but I was in cold weather recently and they didnt perform 100%. But they are good! I shall try the other one you suggest!

    Hello Lovely Lady,
a while ago you recommended Eqyptian Magic cream. Well I finally sourced some here in Australia and after using it for around 4 weeks I can honestly say it is MAGIC! My crowsfeet have soften and my skin feels incredible. It does produce a shine if using it on your face but I like that too. Thank you so much for alerting me to this amazing product. xo
