Luxury Travel Destinations

It is no secret that summer is, without a doubt, my favourite season of the year. I love the beach, the sun and the long lazy lunches by the sea. One place we visit every year, and part of my pre-nuptial agreement with Mr. O, is the Algarve, in the south of Portugal.

Some people think Milan is grey and industrial, but I am a believer that it can be a fantastic city break even if you are not into shopping (that would be a totally different story). So we walked around with Walks of Italy and loved it.

I think it would be fair to say that Genova isn’t on Italy’s Top10 cities to visit, mostly because people know very little about it. You may or may not know that delicacies like focaccia or pesto are originally from the Liguria region – and totally worth a visit!

Madrid, the capital of Spain and a city that Mrs. O called home for almost 4 years. She shares her favourite shopping and restaurant places in town.

Mrs. O goes back to Dublin and finds her spiritual home, drinks some whisky and feasted on amazing food. And even saw Lady Gaga sing. A perfect weekend indeed.

Wine Tasting in England? Seriously? It is true indeed. We decided to find out what is really going on with British winemaking. A nice surprise indeed. I am no wine expert – I am just a girl who likes drinking a bit of wine.

Alentejo is one of my favourite places in the world. It is not overdeveloped (on the contrary), it is quiet, hot, the food and wine are amazing, and the pace of life slow slow slow – perfect to wind down and start a week. Or stay there forever.
