A little London gem, located in my favourite part of London: Marylebone. With rooms starting at just over £200, great value for money and do not get me started on the sexy Irish accents, a Doyle Collection staple.

I was very curious about the Columbia Beach Resort in Cyprus – I have personal friends who had visited before and liked it a lot, but also it turns out it was a very well known hotel by my readers, many of whom visit on an annual basis.

The more I visit Exeter, the capital of Devon, in the South West of England, the more I like it – and great changes in its retail offering and hotel scene make it a destination on its own. I have recently spent a long weekend in town, and adored The Magdalen Chapter.

Some hotels are special. Truly special. And make you feel special. My love affair with the Four Seasons London at Park Lane, has been a long one. Why? Because it is one of my favourite hotels in London, without any doubt.

One of London’s hottest new hotels, The London Edition did not disappoint. Obviously boutique hotel daddy Ian Schrager knows what he is doing. Mrs. O was very impressed.

Sometimes it is worth going outside of one’s comfort zones – and be pleasantly surprised, like I was at the London Marriott Hotel.
