I am a great believer that one can never have too much Italy in one’s lives. So to end Autumn in style, and to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, Mr. O and I made our way to the lovely Venice.
It has been many years since I enjoyed Lisbon as a tourist – and it was wonderful to see it like visitors do. I had an exceptional experience thanks to Exclusive by TLC, who organised the perfect 2 days for yours truly and Mr. O.
Located in South Kensington, minutes from the tube station, Cheval Harrington Court was one of my best discoveries in London. Lovely brand new serviced apartments (which come with a bottle of champagne, of course!).
There is something about certain train journeys – the old-school glamour, fine dining and fabulous outfits. And copious amounts of champagne – I have to confess, that it had my name written all over it. I loved my journey on board the Belmond British Pullman.
A very well designed hotel, in one of Devon’s quintessentially English seaside towns: Salcombe. With gin in each room as a staple, and incredible views, this is what I call a perfect weekend getaway hotel.
