At home medical essentials

first-aid-kit home medical essentials

A list of must-have coronavirus medical essentials – items to have at home during long term isolation periods

As we are potentially long periods of isolation due to Covid-19 and unable to use our healthcare resources for minor ailments, I would like to share this list of must have medical items at home. I did not compile it myself – but a reader who is a fellow Portuguese national and is a nurse in the UK kindly prepared this list for her own benefit, shared it with me and asked me to share it with others.

I had half of the items at home, but not the other – but nothing seems excessive in any way, so I do hope this list comes in handy. I am sharing the brands she recommended and I have purchase but remember that there are alternatives for every case.

I did not know ‘exactly’ where half of these items were in my house – and one was out of date, so just take a moment to check what you already have before setting out to buy anything.

Please stay safe and healthy and, most importantly, stay home.
