Photos of the Week – Treats
Hello everyone, another Friday has arrived 
Gotta love them! Today’s topic for #FRIFOTOS is “Treats”. Hum.. where should I begin? Let’s find some photos!
I must confess I have a sweet tooth – love desserts, chocolate and other bits and pieces. One of my favourite things? Macaroons! These little bits of heaven are, of course, French and I always treat myself to some Ladurée love when in this amazing country.
Macaroons look so pretty!
Despite how many times I board a plane, I still get butterflies in my stomach. I love the excitement. For me, the journey starts when I get to the airport, and I am lucky that LHR is my home airport. I know some people don’t like it, but I love T5 and, more specifically, the British Airways lounge. I love the look and feel of the Club and First lounges and I always get to the airport early in order to enjoy this perk for a bit. I think these lounges set the standard and most airlines really need to up their game.

When I think lounges, I think spa – I love the Elemis spa that BA has and love getting some pre-flight treatments. I love massages, facials not so much (they are necessary, but not a pleasant experience pour moi). And I love nice smelling products. I am loyal to a few brands, and a firm favourite is Jo Malone – a feast for the senses.

Finally, you all know my love for shoes – I don’t hide it! But I also love handbags – which is even more dangerous. I have been eyeing up this Bottega Veneta grey hobo from the current season and, *maybe* I will treat myself to one before the summer is over.
Hint, hint!

Mrs O, i´m glad i´ve discovered your blog!! i´m actually reading some old posts, and i had to comment on this one!
I thought it was just me with butterflies on my stomach before boarding a plane due to flying the most twice a year, or in a really good year three times a year!! Glad to know i´m not alone and even for someone like you, who flies so often that happens!
The bag is so so beautiful, i love the dark brown one (chocolate)! I love shoes as well, but i love bags even more!
Jo Malone is just great, they´ve arrived recently in Lisbon – el corte Inglés.
So i guess those could be my treats too!!!!
(sorry about any mistakes, or bad english… but if you don´t mind i take this opportunity (also) to practice)

and glad you are enjoying the blog! That is the whole idea. I love love love Jo Malone – and noticed it was now available in Portugal last time I went. Long due! I also love handbags. I do have a brown one and still haven’t found a justification for the grey one. Had one in my hand last week (grey one) and it was so pretty… oh well! One day 
These macaroons are adorable! I’m not a huge fan of sweets but can’t deny how cute macaroons are!

cannot wait to treat myself over & over to the French macaroons! YUMMY. one of my favorite treats when traveling is buying travel charms for my bracelet. can’t wait to shop for those babies when in Europe in November.

I agree with 3 out of 4 as total treats. In fact I was at an airline press event in NYC just last week and one person talked my ear off about British Airways and the lounge, the lounge, the lounge…. I haven’t been inside one in over a decade… I guess I have a new travel to-do.

Macaroons! I absolutely love them. I’m curious as to what your favorite flavor is. I’ll pretty much eat any flavor. It’s just another reason why I need to get myself to France ASAP.

I pretty much like any flavour.. but seem to love salted caramel, green tea, and coconut.. oh and chocolate, raspberry.. well, I am not picky!
Yep, macarons are wonderful indeed! Ladurée tends to get too crowded so I prefer to hunt down the lesser known places but Ladurée is quality indeed! First class loungers rock. My favorite: the KLM lounge in Schiphol!

Interesting, 2 kind souls read it and are bringing me macaroons tomorrow, how sweet was that? Have hinted at the grey beauty, but no such luck… yet!
Macaroons are lovely but shoes are my favourite treat… No problem with that, it’s just that I treat myself too often!
